New Grouping System!
● For adults (16+):
Novice - Have placed in two or fewer contests, participant feels like their skill level is not up to a higher rank, or the judges feel like the level of work would be best suited for the novice category.
Experienced - Have placed in 3 or more contests, participant feels like their skill level is at this rank, or the judges feel like a participants skill level is best suited for the experienced category.
● For Children:
Children (0-10) - We don’t expect anything much to be handmade. They are just there to show off cute, nerdy costumes, and everyone gets a small prize who participates. It’s mainly about being able to march around on stage for this age group.
Teen (11-15 ) - We expect the beginning workings of making your own costumes. The thought and effort is put in by the teens to make their own costume and be their character. This category is treated like a pre-novice category.
Prizes:
● Novice
○ 1st Place: Certificate, Large Loot Bag, 50 Dollars Con Cash.
○ 2nd Place: Certificate, Medium Loot Bag.
○ 3rd Place: Certificate, Small Loot Bag.
● Experienced
○ 1st Place: Certificate, Large Loot Bag, 100 Dollars Con Cash.
○ 2nd Place: Certificate, Medium Loot Bag.
○ 3rd Place: Certificate, Small Loot Bag.
● Teen
○ 1st Place: Certificate, Large Loot Bag, 25 Dollars Con Cash.
○ 2nd Place: Certificate, Medium Loot Bag.
○ 3rd Place: Certificate, Small Loot Bag.
● Children
○ Everyone gets a small candy and prize bag just for participating.
Prejudging starts at 10am and the contest begins at 2pm. Come have fun!

The show will be held at the Tanglewood Mall upper level 4420-A Electric Rd, Roanoke, VA
From the North - Take I-81 South to I-581 South, Exit VA-419 N/Electric Rd.
From the South - Travel US 220 North to VA-419 N/Electric Rd to Exit VA-419 N/Electric Rd.
From the East - Travel US Route 460 into Roanoke to I-581 South, Exit VA-419 N/Electric Rd.
From the West - Take I-81 South to I-581 South, Exit VA-419 N/Electric Rd.
Tickets Available at the door.
$5 each, 10 and under free.
